Photos from a roughly 10 mile evening city hike to test out new gear for our upcoming return trip to Grand Canyon. Kass and I are set to hike the South Kaibab / Tonto / Bright Angel Loop.

We’re likely badly unprepared, but hopefully we won’t die. We’re both very much looking forward to the trip. This is a bucket item of Kassi’s for years, and a combination birthday / anniversary celebration. It’ll be our first solo trip since 2018.
