I figured out why half of my galleries in Photos were no longer working. Looks like things were broken after a recent update to Hugo, the tool I use to build the site. Had to adjust some of my backend code, but all should be well now. Browse on.

I have a lot of tracks I listen to alter or set my mood, but I’ve never seen the phenomenon quantified so neatly. I’d like to see the measurable improvements in focus, attention, or creativity that music is capable of producing. Not to mention physical effects — improved strength, speed, and stamina. The immune system. Can music heal? Why do we respond to music?
The answer lies somewhere, I think, somewhere outside of human psychology or physiology.

Sunset Mission is my favorite jazz noir album. It’s moody, ethereal, urban, and brooding. Excellent for late nights and rainy days, and thinking. It’s a double album, available on YouTube. Give it a listen.
It’s a rare album, hard to find and expensive. It was gotten for a steal.
